I built this to keep incoming maintenance requests, assignments and updates in one place.
The dashboard shows open work by venue, along with overdue jobs and requests waiting for assignment.
Why I built it
Maintenance requests were coming in by email, with updates held in different places. Managers needed to see what was open, and technicians needed to know which jobs were theirs.
What it does
I built a job register and dashboard in SharePoint, connected to Planner and an app for technicians. Incoming emails become job records. Each job has space for its priority, owner, due date, updates and attachments.
Managers can see which jobs are urgent or overdue, which need assigning and which still need checking. Technicians can open their jobs, add updates and mark work complete.
Venue names have been removed from the screenshots.
